Overview
This website is an internal tool for members of The Golden Horde alliance in the browser game Politics & War. We collect a minimal amount of data strictly necessary to verify your alliance membership and provide access to the guide. We do not sell, share, or monetize any data.
What We Collect
- Discord Account When logging in via Discord, we receive your public Discord User ID, username, and verify your membership and assigned roles in The Golden Horde Discord server to confirm you are a full member.
- Nation ID If provided or detected in your server nickname, your in-game Nation ID is used to check your nation setup via the Politics & War API.
- Auth Cookie After successful verification, a secure
auth_token session cookie (JWT) is set in your browser. It contains your Discord ID, display name, and expires in 7 days. Used solely to keep you logged in between visits.
- IP Address (Fallback only) If using the legacy in-game message verification, IP addresses are temporarily stored for rate-limiting and auto-deleted after 24 hours.
- Timezone for Spy Reports When saving spy-operation intelligence in the War Calculator or Resource Calculator, Cloudflare supplies an IP-derived timezone. The site uses that timezone to interpret the local date and time you enter and stores the resulting UTC observation time and timezone with the report. If you mark the operation time as unknown, no observation time is stored and no troop or city baseline is attached. The application does not store your IP address for this feature; Cloudflare may process or log request metadata under its own privacy policy.
What We Do NOT Collect
- No personal names, emails, or contact information.
- No browsing history or cross-site tracking.
- No analytics or advertising cookies.
- Nation data fetched from the P&W API for the guide is processed in real time for display. Spy-operation reports submitted to the War Calculator or Resource Calculator and the related P&W nation lookup/baseline are stored in Cloudflare KV for up to 48 hours. Accepted-trade history used to calculate estimates is fetched on demand and is not stored separately by the site.
Data Storage
All server-side storage uses Cloudflare KV. No external databases or third-party analytics are used. IP rate-limit records expire after 24 hours; verification codes expire after 5 minutes; War Calculator spy intelligence expires after 48 hours.
Third-Party Services
- Politics & War API — Used to look up your nation and confirm alliance membership. Your Nation ID is sent to their servers. Refer to the P&W Terms of Service.
- Cloudflare Pages & Workers — This site is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare may log request metadata per their own privacy policy.
Your Rights
Clear your session any time by deleting the auth_token cookie from your browser. All other data auto-expires. For questions or concerns, contact TGH leadership on Discord.
